-If you determine a meeting is necessary,follow this rules to avoid wasting time:
~Establish a clear agenda and stick to it
~Know when to step in and refocus the group if somebody get off the subject
~Have someone take note
~Assign specific action items to the people attending
~Send a follow up report to all participants
~Start and end the meeting preciously on time
~The agenda must be send in advance
~The agenda must include where the meeting will take place and when
~The goals of the person holding the meeting should be stated clearly on the agenda
~The agenda should include what the group is expected to accomplish for each item to be discussed
~Set time limits for discussing each item on the agenda
