Sight for Kids....useful eye care tips

1. Everyone should use good lighting to make reading easier and to prevent eye fatigue.

2. Taking breaks and looking up or accross the room at frequent intervals usually relieves eye strain.

3. If your vision blurs or your eye tired easily you should have your eye examined by eye care professional eg optometrist

4. Safety is the best way to save sight.The most effective treatment for eye injuries is prevention.

5. A balance diet including an appropriate amount of vitamin A,D,E will be good for vision.

6. An eye examination may detects signs or disease in their early stage before they appear elsewhere in the body.

7. Early detection followed by prompt treatment by an eye care professional and close supervision of the child by parents is a successful combination for overcoming amblyopia.

8. Simple eye screening encourages early detection and treatment of eyes disorders,but it does not replace a complete medical eye examination by an eye professional.

9. Your eyes and sight are irreplace....be careful when you want to put anything to the eye!
