VISION OF TEAMS

> Vision is a clear view of what can be and what will be

> It answer the question: Where are we going?

> To be compelling,a vision statement needs to capture the hearts and minds of those who will carry it out

> It all begins with Passion
 
   -passion-strong feelings we hold about an issue or cause

   - achieving our dreams requires hard work,commitment of time or money or both

   -passion is not enough because we cannot do it alone

   -each team member brings a unique set of strength and weakness

> Sharing a Vision

  -truly communicating with each other-listenig,rather than blaming

  -commiting to a common goal

  -meshing personal goals with the vision for the team

> Learning As A Team

  -learning from mistakes to move forward

  -learning from each other- synergy

  -planning for communication,rather than leaving it to chance -- relationships fizzle communication lags

> Taking Action

  -recommitting to the shared vision - easy to forget why we are doing what we are doing

  -working with and through other people to accomplish goals

  -putting a solid effort,rather than just putting in the hours - easy to be complacent

  -challenging yourself - allows us and our team to grow

>We are Transformed by:

  -working together and challenging ourselves to meet a common goal- ordinary people,working btogether can accomplish great things

  -each of us has the power to make a difference in our workplace.

REMEMBER:  VISION WITHOUT ACTION IS A DREAM
                         ACTION WITHOUT VISION IS A NIGHTMARE.
