SUCCESS (part 8)

Below are a number of suggestions to help you gain the knowledge required to be successful:

1.Recall your experience.Identify those factors that have contributed to your success or failure in certain activities.Ask others about their experiences.Experience is one of the most valuable qualities you can gain and one of the least expensive if you are willing to take it second-hand.

2.Keep your eyes and ears open.Listen more than talk.Silence and modesty are qualities that make no enemies.

3.Speak to others to gain knowledge, but reveal your plans reluctantly.

4.Try your ideas out on those you trust and whose opinion you respect.Actively seek constructive criticism;open and honest discussion will highlight the strengths and weakness of your ideas.

5.Become aware of the various continuing education courses that the local educational institutions may offer.

6.Make a commitment to learn more by reading voraciously.Recognise books as a tremendous resource and a vast source of knowledge.

7.Be enthusiastic about learning.Accept it as a challenge, and approach every new subject with a sense of purpose.Set yourself the objective of discovering the critical aspects of each subject you study.

8.Surround yourself with positive and supportive people.Concentrate on positive thoughts and positive actions.Force out those negative thoughts with positive ones.

9.Always ASK if you do not understand something.Do not afraid to ask people for their opinion or to share the benefit of their experience with you.Once you understand, you understand forever.

10.Immerse yourself in personal development and motivational material.

Yourself education is critical to your success.Read, listen and think.....and you will learn.
