SUCCESS (part 5)

1.Once you know what you want to do and how you are going to do it,the next step is actually doing it.....taking action.

2.At this stage it is vital you follow your plans very closely and with a positive attitude.

3.The successful implementation of your plans depends on your attitude.

4.With targets in mind, well thought out plans and a determined and positive approach, you will achieve your goals and enjoy the benefits.

5.A regular review of your progress is necessary so that you konw when a change of plan is required.

6.If you are achieving your targets then you would simply repeat your behaviour until the final target is achieved.

7.At that point a new goal should be set.

8.If don't keep to the target path then you should be asking a few questions:

>Is the goal unrealistic?

>Are the plans inappropriate?

>Have you implemented your plans effectively?

.....if they are, develop another battle plan!

9.Just because your first attempt has not worked, that does not mean that you have been defeated.
Revised your approach:it is as simple as that.

10.Failure is not defeat,merely a temporarily setback.

11.You should not expect to be an immediate success.

12.If you are, then great, but for most of us mere mortals success takes time and learning.

13.Treat your setbacks as learning experiences,as part of a refining process.

14.Every failure brings a greater chance of future success.REMEMBER!

15.Having gone through this procedure a few times, you will become aware of the tremendous power you have within yourself.

16.You will realise that you can achieve virtually anything you set your mind to.

17.You will find it both a challenge and a thrill to actually achieve what in the past you have simply dreamt about.

18.People who have developed these basic goal setting skills are unstoppable and they are the ones who will produce outstanding achievements.

19.You are also capable of doing this if you master the process of setting a goal, develoing plans, taking action to carry out those plans and reviewing to make sure you are getting closer to your goal.
