TIME MANAGEMENT=LIFE MANAGEMENT

1.Time is the most perishable commodity of all.If you don't use it today you cannot use it tomorrow.

2.Time is like a money, you can either spend it or invest it in the achievement of your goals.

3.How many time have your heard someone say 'I haven't got time'.Actually,it is not that they do not have time, they simply are not using their time efficiently.

4.Efficient use of time will give you the time to look for and exploit opportunities.

5.You could double your productive time,by applying the time management principles below:

a.Identify time wasting activities.
How much of your time are you using inefficiently?
Where does all of your time go?
Itemise your daily activities every week.

b.List your priorities.
Each night prepare a list of the tasks to do that next day and rank them according to the order of importance (whether critical, necessary, important, helpful, marginal). Are you spending too much time on activities that are not taking you closer to your goals?

c.Set deadlines.Actually, setting a deadline will focus your attention on getting the job done.

d.Concentrate on only a few things at a time.Don't dilute your energy.

e.Review the things you are currently doing on a regular basis. Are some things unimportant?

f.Take some time to figure out what need:training, mentoring or coaching.Improving your abilities in high-priority areas is always a good investment in yourself that will pay off in the long run.

g.Calculate your worth.Know how much you are worth each hour.Calculating the value of your time is easy.Express your annual income in thousands, divide by two and that is how much each hour is worth to you.For example,if your annual earnings are RM20,000 then each hour is worth RM10 (based on 250 eight hour working day in a year). From this you can place a value of cost of your leisure time.

6.Nothing separates successful people from unsuccessful people more than how they use their time.Successful people know where their time goes. They continually analyze how they are using their time.

7.Time management actually is just LIFE MANAGEMENT.There really is an art to managing your life and making the most of your time.Life management begins with an awareness of time and of the choiices we should make to be a good steward of it.
