Knowing your STRESS

STRESS is a physical,emotional and mental reaction to change.It encompasses pressure,burden,conflict,fatigue,tension,panic,nervousness,anxiety,deoression and loss of vitality that often happens when changes occur to the body or mind.

Why are you STRESS?

>Personal- disappointment that take various forms

>Family- domestic problems,financial problems,problems with chikdren,etc

>Occupation- not excelling in job,not promoted,loss of work,transferred,etc

> Community- arguments with neigbours

>Traffic congestion

>Uncomfortable environment

>Tragedy

>Being forced to wait long


Signs of STRESS

# Increased heartbeat

# Temper

# Despondent

# Loss of appetite

# Loss of interest in job

#Loss of libido

# Lack of sleep

# Tendency to raise voice

# Withdrawn


What to do when you are STRESS?

* Be calm.....calm down, breathe in and exhale slowly

* Relax,relax and relax

* Identify the causes of your stress

* Do nice things for people

* Speak to someone

* Seek advice of others

* Withdraw to another place to control your stress

* Discuss your problems with family member or friends

* Have massage

* Rest and listen to music you like

* Perform physical activities

* Excercise

* Think positive

* Accept the fact of the situations

* PRAY
