PROFESSIONAL
1. A professional learns every aspect of the job
2. A professional carefully discovers what is needed and wanted
3. A professional looks, speaks, and dresses like a professional
4. A professional keeps his or her work area clean and orderly
5. A professional is focussed and clear-headed
6. A professional does not let mistakes slide by
7. A professional jumps into difficult assignments
8. A professional complete projects as soon as possible
9. A professional remains level-headed and optimistic
10. A professional handles money and accounts very carefully
11. A professional faces up to other people's upsets and problems
12. A professional uses higher emotional tones: Enthusiasm, cheerfulness, interest, contentment
13. A professional persists until the objective is achieved
14. A professional produces more than expected
15. A professional produces a high-quality product or service
16. A professional earns high pay
17. A professional has a promising future

UNPROFESSIONAL
1. ....skips the learning process whenever possible
2. ....assumes what others need and want
3. ....is sloppy in appearance and speech
4. ....has a messy, confused or dirty work area
5. ....is confused and distracted
6. ....ignores or hides mistakes
7. ....tries to get out of difficult work
8. ....is surrounded by unfinished work piled on top of unfinished work
9. ....gets upset and assumes the worst
10. ....is sloppy with money or accounts
11. ....avoids others' problems
12. ....uses lower emotional tones: anger, hostility, resentment, fear, victim
